EMC Projects Ltd were pleased to be asked back to assist with the fit out of a new state of the art gym facility at Kilmarnock Football Club. It is imperative that football clubs look out for the welfare of their players and Kilmarnock Football Club were looking to provide higher quality training facilities for their players on site. This exciting projects involved restoring a former greenkeeper’s shed and repurposing it as a gym facility. The location of the shed is between the Chadwick Stand and the physio rooms allowing the easy access for staff, management and players at all times.
The new fitness suite provides an excellent resource for players to enhance their fitness in preparation for matches and also acts as a rehabilitation facility for after games. The gym benefits the players on the pitch and gives management peace of mind that the health and wellbeing of their players is being looked after.
EMC Projects, alongside principle contractor Worksmart Contracts and Thomson Hunter Architects, provided all small power and lighting services for the gym, including power supply for gym equipment and air conditioning systems. In order to encourage maximum performance players must train in adequate facilities that are well lit and temperature controlled. EMC Projects were pleased to play our part in improving facilities at the club and hope that our efforts will benefit the clubs players.
EMC Projects were working under significant time and budget constraints as our clients were eager to get the work completed in time for the new season. Despite this, work was completed on time and within budget and the gym was unveiled to staff and players in time for the 2019/2020 season beginning. EMC Projects were pleased to have been able to deliver another successful project on behalf of the club.
